WHAT IS SYC?

"Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

S.Y.C. stands for "Summer Youth Celebration" and it is a week long camp every August for youth who have completed Gr. 7 to Gr. 12. The week includes interactive small groups, lots of recreation activities, worship, Bible teaching and creative arts!

2026 Theme:
LIVE SENT

This year’s theme, LIVE SENT, is about living a lifestyle that is ready to obey God’s calling—whatever that calling may be. Rather than focusing on a specific place or activity, LIVE SENT emphasizes character: a heart that is willing, available, and responsive to God.

God has equipped each of us with spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities, and He continues to shape us through maturity and understanding as we grow in His Word. The responsibility rests with us—to be willing to obey. God’s mission is about bringing people to Himself, not only for salvation, but so that our lives may glorify Him through worship, obedience, and joyful service.

WHAT GOES ON @ SYC

Many things happen during the week of camp. Here is a snapshot of some activities and events that occur during our week at Gardom Lake.

GAMES & ELECTIVES

The 5 Days at SYC is ultra-packed with activities ranging from active events such as archery, paddle boarding, rock climbing, and giant water fight to more cerebral ones like crafts, worship, prayer walk, and more!

SMALL GROUPS

SYC is also about building new friendships and strengthening existing ones. Each day includes a small group time where we grow and study God's Word together in your age cohort.

FEATURED
EVENTS

Evenings at SYC are often a highlight, which features nightly events including a camp-wide night game, team challenges, all-inclusive talent show, bonfire sharing, and late night social.

MAIN SESSIONS

SYC is not complete without our daily worship and main sessions. We get to engage in worship and reflect on relevant youth topics led by our featured morning and evening speakers.

SYC always looks into ways to enhance our youths' experiences

We always ensure that the youths who join us have the best opportunities to thrive in new friendships, to rejuvenate in God's creation, and to ignite a passion for Christ. We are always looking for others to join our ranks in making such a vision a sustainable reality!

SYC+

SYC+ is a program custom designed to allow aspiring leaders to grow while having fun.

The program is suitable for young adults who just finished high school in the past 2 years (18-20 year old's)
