The statement “It’s not about me” runs counter to a culture that is obsessed with the self - my wants, my needs, my feelings, my opinions, my rights, my life, and on and on. But believe it or not - we were created for something far greater than ourselves. And the truth is that we will never be satisfied until we really understand that it’s all about God’s glory.

SYC 2018 SPEAKERS
Josh Arrington
Josh and his wife Lisa moved to Canada in 2010 with their family. They have four children, Caleb (10), Eli (8), Malaya (7), and Micah Bradley (4). Since coming on a mission trip in 2007, and quickly recognizing that there were very few churches in Pitt Meadows and the Fraser Valley, they moved their family to begin Church On The Rock in Pitt Meadows. Over the course of the last 6 years they have seen how faithful the Lord is and how He has been moving to open up opportunities for relationships with their neighbors and a great relationship with the community of Pitt Meadows as well
.Josh loves to hunt, fish, teach, and lead others into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Cesar Parra
Cesar Parra grew up in Toronto and is married to Mary. They have three children: Rebecca, David and Samuel. He graduated from our Seminary in Cochrane with an M.Div, planted and pastored a church in Toronto for 8 years, and helped plant a church in Calgary. Cesar later went on the mission field with IMB for 4 years to Spain and returned with his family in October, 2016 to work with our CNBC as Team Leader for Missions and Ethnic Churches.
